How does ScreenPlace detect changes in my display setup?

ScreenPlace identifies your display setup based on the unique identifiers of your connected displays. When a display is connected or disconnected, ScreenPlace detects the change and switches to the matching configuration. If you have auto-apply on display change enabled, your windows will be rearranged automatically.
