Why is the badge not showing up?

The badge only appears when a window with a saved layout is focused and its current size or position differ from the saved ones in ScreenPlace. If the badge is still not showing up, please make sure that it’s enabled in the settings of the app, the Device Control and Data Access (Accessibility before macOS 27) is granted, and the focused window has a layout that is saved in the current workspace. If you have the Standard Windows Only option enabled, the badge will only appear for standard app windows and it won’t be displayed for non-standard windows, such as search, dialogs, and other additional windows. If you have selected the Around Only or Hidden option for the overflow position of the badge and there isn’t enough space to display it outside the window, it will be hidden.
